Improving an existing product: content, booking, performance and measurement in one journey.

01 / The need

Improve an existing WordPress website: lighten its media, make direct booking easier and structure content for visitors and search engines.

02 / My contribution

WordPress/Elementor optimization within HWS: a PHP/JavaScript module, responsive WebP media, an integrated HotelRunner journey, FR/EN/ES/IT content and technical SEO. Work with Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console for audience measurement and search monitoring, with tracking enabled after consent.

03 / What was built

    Screen-appropriate WebP variants, progressive galleries and deferred offscreen backgrounds.

  2. 02

    An integrated booking journey passing dates, adults and room selection to HotelRunner, with an external fallback.

  3. 03

    Pages and room details in 4 languages, with dedicated URLs, canonicals, hreflang and consistent structured data.

  4. 04

    Key-action measurement events and consent management; GA4 and Search Console to monitor usage and search visibility.

  5. 05

    Native Elementor content editing retained, with mobile layout and navigation checks.
